1. Who Are We? (The People Behind This Website)
This website is started through the cooperation between Master Ooi Kean Seng, of The Yong Nian Taijiquan Society of Malaysia (a member of the World Yong Nian Tai Chi Federation) and Malaysia-Best Internet, Marketing & Business Resources. This great partnership is built on a common desire on both parties, to help promote the great art of Taijiquan in Malaysia, Singapore and the rest of the world.

Master Ooi is a very experienced Taijiquan instructor and an avid Taiji enthusiast. He is one of the selected few qualified Taiji instructors from Malaysia, to be directly trained by Grand Master Fu Sheng Yuan, the 5th Generation Master of The Yang Family Taiji. As a direct disciple of Grand Master Fu, Master Ooi undergone stict trainings and regular supervisions, resulting in a high standard and mastery of the traditional Yang Family Taiji.
Master Ooi is also a founding member of the Yong Nian Taijiquan Society of Malaysia, and has over the years, together with his fellow Taiji instructors, contributed greatly towards the advancement and popularity of Taijiquan in Malaysia and Singapore.
To ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to learn Taiji, Master Ooi
conducts Taiji lessons almost 7-day a week, without rest, at different locations, in the
morning and evening.
Master Ooi is also actively
involved in the activities of the Malaysia Taijiquan Association, and the overall Wushu community
locally and in the region.
Together with his wife and family, Master Ooi also involved himself
in community services and activities that promote the study and preservation of chinese traditions,
values and culture.A word from Master Ooi: "Everyone should be given the chance to learn the great art of Taijiquan. You have to experience it yourself, to know the beauty behind Taiji, that has kept hundreds of thousands of people, all over the world, completely enchanted and changed their life for the better. If you practise Taiji diligently, you will regain one of the most valuable thing in our life: Good Health.
This is the precise reason that I have started the Malaysia-Taiji project. Grand Master Fu, and all of us here at Yong Nian Taiji Society of Malaysia, hopes that through this effort of ours and Malaysia-Best, we will be able to reach more people and to share with them the beautiful art of Taiji and its many benefits".

Mr. Koo is currently the Executive Webmaster of Malaysia-Best. His many years in the IT and Marketing fields have well-equipped him to handle and cope with the requirements of the current Internet Website Solutions market. Among his most important responsibility is to study the changing trends of Internet Marketing and anticipate the future needs of the markets.
Mr. Koo also happens to be a Taijiquan student of Master Ooi, for the past 3 years. Having learnt under a great Taijiquan instructor, he has greatly benefitted from it physically and mentally.
A word from Mr. Koo: "The beauty of Taijiquan can only be "experienced" and no words can sufficiently describe the special "feelings" you get, when you have reached a certain stage, after practising it diligently for some time. Eversince I started learning Taijiquan, I have become a better person and it has greatly enhanced my ability to cope and react to stress promptly and effectively. No words are sufficient to describe the great benefits of Taijiquan. An added bonus is when you get to learn from a good Master - and Master Ooi is one of the best in the region as he is one of the very few trained directly by the great Taiji Master, Fu Sheng Yuan".
Our mission is to help promote the great art of Taiji, so that as many people as possible can benefit from its many advantages.
